If this is your first event for the year, please remembe that a 2016 Vehicle Registration Form is required to be submitted to be eligible for Competition Points. Click here for a blank form, or return the pre-filled form that was emailed on 15 December to 2015. Forms will need to be returned in sufficient time for the Scrutineers to review the form prior to the close of entries. Early forms are appreciated.

Competition Class

Evidence of prior track experience or satisfactory completion of a high performance driver-training course is a Club requirement for the timed competition classes.

All competitors will require a Dorian transponder to be fitted to their cars for official times to be recorded. Please make sure they are properly fitted and charged. Dorians can be hired for the day, but must be booked at time of entry. New dorian units can be purchased from Carly via administrator@pcv.com.au

Entrée Class

Entrants in the entrée class get separate sessions of un-timed practice. Instructors will be provided from experienced club members. No advanced driver training, fire extinguishers or Dorians are required. All you need is a CAMS Level 2S Licence, an approved helmet, suitable clothing (see Supp Regs) and a roadworthy vehicle. If your vehicle has a tow hook in the tool kit, it should be fitted – either front or rear. This is the perfect introduction to track days for new members.

Please note Entrée Class numbers are strictly limited.

Passenger Runs During Lunch Break

As per the Supp Regs., Competitors can arrange to take passengers out for a few laps during the lunch break. However this option will only be opened when enough drivers have agreed to take out any marshals that are keen to do a few laps.

Open Pit Afternoon Session

If participants’ numbers drop off by mid-afternoon, we may consider the option of having a timed open pit from around 3:30pm. This open pit session may be declared either timed or untimed. If untimed, entrants can take another entrant with them on the track for coaching or vehicle evaluation purposes.

A final decision on exercising this option will be made by the Clerk of Course on the day.

Catering:

Our lunch vendor will be providing coffee and breakfast rolls from around 0800.  Pizzas will be available for lunch from approx. 1130 to 1400

PCV Marshalling Team - Please contact Mark Behan via email if you are available to assist with this event or are new and would like to give marshalling a try.
